My trip to Cape Town has now ended and I'm once again back home in Klitmøller.

When I look back on the whole season it's clearly it haven't been a very windy one. Normally we have a lot of hauling days with small waves, but this year was a bit of the opposite. We had a lot of light wind days, but generally the waves were quite good. So we have been doing a lot more light wind wave riding than usual, and because there wasn't that much wind around you had to be ready and go whenever there was a bit of wind.

In March I did the F2 photo shoot for the 2013 boards with the rest of the F2 team. It was super fun to spend some time with the F2 team and we ended up with some amazing photos, but you have to wait and see them in the F2 brochure.

The last week before I was leaving Cape Town I was unlucky to get injured. I was having a fun day in Melkboss and in the end of the session I was doing a stalled forward, but when I pulled in the backhand to start the rotation I felt a sharp pain in the lower part of my ribcage. When I got to the beach I almost couldn't carry my equipment back to the car, because every movement I made was painful. The doctor said I probably strained some ligaments in my ribcage, which feels like having a bent rib. Every time I move, laugh or coughs it hurts, and the first week I couldn't do much. Its now three weeks since the injure and its already a lot better, but the doctor said it can take up to 6 weeks before the pain is totally gone.

Now I am just hoping for a quick recovery so I can sail without pain. The 1.st of April the waiting period of the German event Supreme Big Days started. In the middle of May the first danish wave event takes place and around the middle of June I am going to the Canary Islands to train and compete in the PWA World Cups in Gran Canary and Tenerife.

I will keep you updated. See you on the water!
